I was writing you back a comment but it got me thinking about so much about the difference in my yard, I turned my comment into a post.

I think we may get some of that clover-looking stuff here too. It creeps, then it has a weird looking central root, tiny but really hard, and often it's sort of forked. That one's a pretty irritating weed, there. I pull it up, but leaving even a little piece of root behind means it's just like it started, grows back in a week or two.

I saw your truckload of pine bark nuggets, so I know you don't have grass absolutely everywhere! I'm trying to get more plants in the ground, more green that way. Can't have any grass. Just pulling the weed grasses can get pretty dangerous for me.khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06430423256832961746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11967806.post-1159105988836243442006-09-24T09:53:00.000-04:002006-09-24T09:53:00.000-04:00I know what you mean about the weeds. I am thining about putting down some broadleaf herbicide later this fall and maybe get rid of them..at least for next year. I have some type of small broadleaf clover looking stuff that spreads overnight..the only good things I can say about it is that the stuff IS green and is ground cover over the sand.GUYKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02365709988592687239noreply@blogger.com
