Nancy's Home!

All this good news. And the best news of all? Nancy is HOME from the hospital! Yes! She escaped and is Free At Last!

They beat her half to death, starved her of proper diabetic food, and drank her blood dry. But I'll let her fill you in on all the gory details. It's a great story.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Happy Thanks Giving. Make it vegetarian...

Thank you kirsten! May I say Happy Thanksgiving to you too? I know it's an American holiday but my *guy* is from Europe, and he loves it too. Mmmm...partly because he's very fond of eating, uh, that bird. 'Scuse please!

Actually, I was a vegetarian for 7 years. Our Thanksgiving dinners have so many *sides,* those dishes that go with the main course, that I always got stuffed full on Thanksgiving, vegetarian or no. I'd make the stuffing and bake it in a bowl. Cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes with vegetarian gravy or just butter, salad, cooked vegetables, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie...no end of non-turkey food!

Glad to hear Miss Nancy is home, k! I'm going to get over to her place a little later!

And I'm THRILLED to find out you got your scooter! So happy for you! And so wonderful that people took the time and cared enough to help make this possible. Sort of restores my faith in the human race - you know? Such GOOD news! Yay!

Isn't it something? Especially when you think of how many people consider the internet a haven of users and selfish people? Ain't so. Not by a long shot.

It makes me feel like this Thanksgiving is like Christmas. And normally, I'm one of those who just goes nuts about doing Christmas too soon.

I'm working on a big ol' *thank you* post. It's slow going because after this much excitement I need to sleep prodigiously.

Which I am.

I just woke up, around 6:30 pm. I don't think I'll be awake much longer, either. Doing about 16 hours, the last couple of days.

That's all right. It's what I need right now.

AND it keeps me from *overdoing* things too fast now that I have my wonderful beautiful scooter AND a platform for the car!!!

I'm having trouble finding the right words for that *thank you* post. Another reason it's so slow. But I'll get there.

crap. Now I'm crying again.

Well, that's probably a good thing, Livey! Everyone needs a smartass in their lives, maybe me most of all.
